REACH Metals & Metal Alloy Testing

The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) classifies chemical substances is within an established hazard-based classification system.

For metals the amount of that the given metal which can be dissolved in water is compared to a set of ecotoxicity values to determine the hazard category appropriate for classification.

For inorganic substances of unknown solubility it is required that transformation/dissolution (T/d) testing is carried out as a starting point so that the ecotoxicity of that substance can be evaluated.

This MSDS Data is a requirement of the REACH Directive
