X-ray Diffraction Service offers information on crystallographic structure and chemical composition

X-ray Diffraction (XRD) Service offers information on crystallographic structure and chemical composition.

Based on the principle of X-ray diffraction ( XRD ), a wealth of structural, physical and chemical information about materials can be obtained. ITRI Innovation uses a PANanalytical X`Pert Pro MPD with X`Celerator option.

Examples of areas where XRD is being actively used include:-

Various sectors within the pharmaceutical industry makes regular use of XRD techniques. The main purposes being drug discovery, pre-formulation and formulation.

A forensic laboratory may uncover facts from even the smallest traces of evidence. XRD plays a key role in today's forensic laboratories.

In nanotechnology, knowledge of the structure and composition of the materials studied is a key requirement for understanding materials properties at a small distance. Since the dimensions of X-ray wavelengths are in the same order as the sizes of nanostructures, X-ray diffraction is an important tool for the nanoscientist.

If you are looking for a fast turnaround professional XRD inspection service then please talk to us today.
