Tin Technology Ltd- Change of Name

From January 2008 Tin Technology Ltd has changed its name to ITRI Innovation Ltd. There is no change in ownership or legal entity, simply a new name. The company registration, VAT number, postal address and phone/fax numbers remain unaltered. ITRI Innovation Ltd, like its predecessor, will be a wholly owned subsidiary of ITRI Ltd.

2008 International Tin Conference

The 2008 International Tin Conference will take place in Hong Kong at the InterContinental Hotel on 14 - 17th April 2008.  The Tin Conference is held biennially and brings together the world's tin industry to discuss current and future trends.

Coatings research & testing specialists

Surfacetec offers specialist testing and is an independent technical support service for the coatings sector. It has a well-equipped chemical and metallurgical analysis laboratory, that can work with clients on long-term projects or provide a rapid turn around for QC problems.

Small scale fire testing

Fireproof is a laboratory service equipped with a comprehensive range of small-scale fire tests, each complying to national and international standard test methods. The fire testing laboratory is supported by a small-scale polymer processing and compounding laboratory, ideal for re-formulation purposes, along with comprehensive mechanical testing and analytical chemical capabilities.

ITRI is the only organisation dedicated to supporting the tin industry and expanding tin use. It is largely funded by the major tin producers and smelters which comprise its membership. ITRI provides a unique link between tin producers and tin consumers and over many decades has built up global networks in all of the major tin using markets.
